Outcome Activation Ltd
Privacy Notice
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This notice explains what personal information Outcome Activation Ltd may handle through this website, related enquiries and its privately controlled Finance Gateway, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your data
Outcome Activation Ltd is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15332947 and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB751930.
For privacy questions or rights requests, email privacy@outcomeactivation.com. For general enquiries, email contact@outcomeactivation.com.
Data we may process
- Enquiry information: your name, contact details, organisation and anything you choose to include when you email us.
- Business and accounting information: authorised, read-only information retrieved from Outcome Activation's QuickBooks account through the Finance Gateway, such as company details, account structures, report information, balances and transactions. Business records may contain names, contact details or other personal information supplied to QuickBooks.
- Access and security information: limited records associated with authorised access, fault diagnosis and service protection, such as access decisions, timestamps, IP address, browser or device information and operational logs.
- Analytics information: aggregated information about public-site visits and interactions, only when you have actively consented to analytics cookies.
The public website does not currently use account registration or an embedded contact form. The protected Finance Gateway is not a public account-registration service.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- To respond to enquiries and discuss possible work, relying on legitimate interests or steps requested before entering a contract.
- To retrieve and review authorised business and accounting information for financial administration, reconciliation, assurance and decision support, relying on Outcome Activation's legitimate interests in managing its business and, where applicable, legal obligations relating to accounting, tax or record keeping.
- To deliver, secure and maintain the website and Finance Gateway, relying on legitimate interests in operating safe, controlled services.
- To understand optional public-site usage, relying on your consent. Analytics remains off until consent is given.
- To meet legal, tax, regulatory or record-keeping duties where a legal obligation applies.
The applicable basis can depend on the information and context. Please contact us if you would like details about a particular use.
Sharing, service providers and international transfers
We may use appropriate suppliers for website hosting, email, security and, where consent is given, analytics. The Finance Gateway also depends on Intuit/QuickBooks as the source accounting platform and Cloudflare for protected infrastructure and access controls. Providers may process limited information to supply, secure and support their services under their applicable terms and safeguards.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for a restricted transfer, we will use an appropriate recognised mechanism and proportionate measures. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to maintain necessary business records, or to meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the information, the business relationship and applicable requirements. The Finance Gateway retrieves data on demand and is not intended to create a separate permanent copy of the QuickBooks company file; authorised exports or evidence retained outside the gateway follow Outcome Activation's applicable business and legal retention requirements.
We use proportionate organisational and technical measures. Access is restricted to authorised users and systems, the gateway operates on a read-only basis, and safeguards are used to protect information and keep credentials out of public content and responses. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Connection, withdrawal and deletion
The QuickBooks connection can be disconnected or its authorisation withdrawn. Disconnection stops future gateway retrieval but does not automatically delete records that Outcome Activation must retain for accounting, tax, legal, security or audit purposes. Requests concerning personal information can be made using the privacy contact below and will be considered under applicable law.
See the Finance Gateway information page, its disconnection guidance and the Finance Gateway Terms of Use.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data; object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent. Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Use the persistent Cookie settings link to change analytics choices. For any other request, email privacy@outcomeactivation.com. We may need enough information to confirm your identity and understand the request.
How to complain
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
Updates
We may update this notice when the website, Finance Gateway, suppliers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the date shown above.
