Finance Gateway Terms of Use

Authorised private use

The gateway is provided only for Outcome Activation Ltd and people or services it expressly authorises. It is not a public, consumer or mass-market software service. Access credentials are personal or service-specific and must not be shared outside the authorised purpose.

Read-only scope

The gateway may retrieve approved QuickBooks accounting and business information for authorised reporting, analysis and verification. It cannot create, edit or delete accounting records.

Permitted and acceptable use

Use the gateway only for authorised Outcome Activation financial administration, reconciliation, assurance and decision support. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe unsupported routes, obtain another person's data, introduce malicious material, disrupt the service, or use information for an unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

User responsibilities

Users must protect their access credentials, use approved devices and processes, check that requested periods and accounting methods are correct, and independently verify material financial conclusions against authoritative QuickBooks records. Suspected loss, disclosure or misuse of access must be reported promptly.

QuickBooks and service availability

The gateway depends on Intuit QuickBooks and infrastructure providers outside Outcome Activation's direct control. Availability, report formats and upstream behaviour may change. The gateway is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be suspended for security, maintenance, supplier failure or compliance reasons. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax or legal advice.

Security, suspension and disconnection

Outcome Activation may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the company, its records, users or suppliers, or to meet legal or contractual requirements. QuickBooks authorisation may be disconnected at any time. On disconnection, future retrieval stops; obligations concerning confidentiality, acceptable use and retained records continue where applicable.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, users should not rely on the gateway as the sole source for a material financial, tax, legal or regulatory decision. Outcome Activation is not responsible for loss caused by unauthorised use, inaccurate source data, or third-party service interruption where responsibility cannot reasonably be attributed to Outcome Activation.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
